Still genius!

It was 1963 when producer/song writer Phil Spector created "Be My Baby" with his new Wall Of Sound. It is considered the best pop record of the 60s. Drummer Hal Blaine hypnotizes you with his commanding beat. Who uses castanets in a rock/pop/soul song? That's a jive Sonny Bono on tambourine.

Check out this studio backing track with the Wrecking Crew.
